I’m the friend who, whenever someone casually proposes a trip, immediately pulls out the calendar and asks: “Okay, when?” Blame my love of travel on my Aussie upbringing. My dad’s job took us to Australia for several years when I was in elementary school, where I got to hand-feed the kangaroos who lived down the street!
I’ve been crossing countries off my bucket list ever since. I love learning about how other people live halfway around the world, and sharing it with others—including my kids. Before starting my own travel agency, I was a teacher; I see a lot of parallels between my time in the classroom and how I serve my clients today.
Kids learn best when you tailor your teaching strategies to their strengths and needs—and the same is true of my clients’ travels. Clients may be headed to the same destination, but their itineraries look completely different, because their trips are completely customized to them.
